Greetings!
Well, over
the course of this term, I have learned a great deal about myself! I learned
about my limitations, but most importantly, I learned about my possibilities as
an individual being! In the beginning of this course I scored my physical wellbeing
as a level 8, my spiritual as a 7, and my psychological as a 9. Now…..thinking
about the scores that I gave myself in Unit 3 of this 10 week course truly
amazes me, because comparing those scores with that of the unit 9 assessments,
well, I scored myself at about a 5 in all three areas (physical, spiritual, and
psychological). The scores have most definitely changed and I would say this
has occurred because while I learned more about myself, I also learned how much
work I have left to do. I certainly wouldn’t say this is a bad thing, but I do
think that through this process, it will help me achieve more manageable goals.
Although,
it would have been nice to see progress in the areas of goals that I had set
for myself, I think that I have made some progress and will continue to do so
as this is a major commitment, and also one that could be life long, therefore,
goals may be larger and progress will only be seen over larger periods of time.
In addition, I have not implemented the activities that I had chosen in order
to increase my wellbeing in all three of these areas, but I do feel that, just
as with all things, it will take time. However, I have the drive, the
willpower, and the dedication to integrating integral health into my lifestyle
and…..changes, well they are about to happen!!!
Throughout
this course I have developed a much deeper sense of self, and have also placed
more value on the person that I am and the role that I play in this world; we
all make a difference! I would say that I have definitely developed an improved
wellbeing! This course has taught me more about the value of life in the last
ten weeks than I had known for the last 30 years, and that knowledge is
something to be cherished! I would say that the most rewarding part has been
learning so much about myself and the renewed value that I have on life and the
impact that I can make in this world. Throughout this journey, I would say that
the most difficult thing has been incorporating these new habits into my life,
but just like with breaking bad/old habits, it all takes time; this is a life
changing event and it won’t happen overnight. I think that this experience will
help me assist others in a much more dynamic way because it has provided me
with insight into the soul and for what it may be searching for; which is true
inner healing.

Hi Anna,
ReplyDeleteI feel the same as you do about this course. It looks like you have improved your scaling greatly! I love that you have increase the value as a person and see a holistic improvement in general. Good habits are a working progress but I can hear how important they are going to be in your future self. Good luck in your wellness journey.

I too feel the same way!!! Yes, you're right we all make a difference in this world. The problem is you have some people who think their difference means more than the next person and that is so wrong. Love one another, accept one another, appreciate one another. Don't worry about your habits...you will break the bad habits just start with incorporating the good ones and gradually ween yourself off of the bad ones. I remember I had a nasty coke zero habit. I actually quit cold turkey and it was hell but I made it. Now I don't even miss it. I drink seltzer water because it has carbonation too it but no more sodas. One bad habit down :0. Several more to go.
ReplyDeleteBe blessed and good luck!!!!

Hi Anna. I find it nice to wake up and think of new positive paths for the day and future. I think that is referred to as having hope. I like how you stated your rates in unit 3 and now you consider the rates lower because you have much more to pursue. That is a great philosophy. You sound nice and bubbly. I wish you the best on your adventure.
ReplyDeleteHi Anna,
ReplyDeleteGreat blog and a great outcome! I have also learned that I have more work to do. I think this class has made all of us think about life a little differently.
Good Luck,
Billie
